Mixed Dal, 1 cup, ( Soak in water for 1 hour at least -bengal gram dal,kidney beans, and whole green moong dal)
Tomatoes, 2 chopped
Ginger-garlic paste, 1 tbsp
green chillies, 2 , chopped
Coriander powder,1 tsp
Garam Masala powder,1 tsp
Red chilli powder,1 tsp
Salt to taste
Cumin seeds powder,1 tsp
Refined oil,2 tbsp
Tomato,1, whole slice for garnish
First heat oil in a pressure cooker and add chopped onions.
Then saute for 5 mins and add ginger garlic paste.
Cook for 5 mins and add chopped tomatoes and chopped green chillies.
Next add garam masala powder,coriander powder,cumin seeds powder and red chilli powder.
Cook for another 8-10 mins until raw smell goes off.
Now add soaked mixed dal and cook for another 5-8 mins.
Pressure cook it for 4-5 whistle in medium flame.
Now, in a pan take 1 tbsp oil and pour egg after cracking and mix it well to make burji.
Add little salt and then fry until turns golden brown.
Then add cooked mixed dal and mix well.
Cook until gravy becomes thick and serve hot with slices of tomatoes and onions.
